Part of our vision at His House Ministries includes "equipping the saints for the work of the ministry."
Teaching others to reach others is a vital part of God's Great Commission. The Gospel of Christ is the foundation of our ministry. It is ingrained throughout our program and a necessary element for success in all our lives and our program. Helping our clients recover from substance abuse and emotional disorders is a tool we use to reach them with the Gospel which is "the power of God unto salvation" that forever changes their lives.
We are building an army of God's people who believe they are called to this task and equipping them to carry the Gospel message to men and women seeking recovery from their disease of addiction. This requires training in the field of recovery and knowledge of the Scriptures. We accomplish this task in multiple ways which include:
Human resources are one of our most valued and vital assets! We heavily rely on-and appreciate the generosity and obedience of-individuals who contribute their time and talents to this ministry. We need the diversity of skills others possess in order to operate efficiently and cost effectively.
Skilled volunteers make it possible for us to keep our residents' cost of housing and therapy at a minimum, thereby making our services accessible to more men and women seeking treatment. The variety of services we benefit by most are provided by professionals, tradesmen and clerical types.
