General Information


Current data supporting best practices states that optimum outcomes (85-90%) occur following 13 months of continued recovery. Our program requires an initial 12 month financial commitment with successful program completion and graduation following 12 months of uninterrupted sobriety. Upon completion of the 12 month initial commitment, program fees and services are calculated on a month to month basis.

  • Open-ended recovery program. Home environment, non-medical facility.
  • Evening classes, groups, AA/NA & Celebrate Recovery meetings.
  • Wednesday evening Bible study and Sundays attend His Hands Church
  • Client is required to participate in all aspects of the program including written assignments.
  • Peer pressure teaches responsibility, teamwork, communications, and proper relationships.


  • Must be an adult (25 or older) physically, mentally, and emotionally able to take care of himself.
  • Client must be interviewed by program staff and agree to fully participate in our program.
  • Client must be detoxified from all mood-altering chemicals, including addictive prescription medication.
  • Client must be free of contagious diseases. (TB, Hepatitis, etc)
  • Felony pending legal issues need to be resolved prior to admission or postponed until the client is discharged from His House.
  • Financial arrangements must be made with the Administrator or his designated representative.


  • Information on clients cannot be given to families or the general public without the client's written permission.
  • Information will not be withheld from the constituted authorities of the criminal justice system.
  • All visitors to His House Recovery Residence are bound by federal law to honor client confidentiality.


  • Clients may have cell phones while residing in a Recovery Residence.
  • Office phone is available for calls not exceeding 15 minutes in length.


  • Clients are allowed visitors at His House.
  • Only authorized visitors may come to His House. The following qualifications of an authorized visitor are:
  • Must be a significant person to the client's recovery (normally only immediate family).
  • Must be named by the client as a desired visitor.
  • Must attend local self-help meetings at least once a week while client is at His House.
  • Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m - 10:00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. Please notify staff prior to your visit.
  • Clients are permitted to leave His House with authorized visitors. Staff must be notified of the departure and the return of the client. The client is responsible for finding a volunteer to do his work detail.
  • Weekend passes begin Friday and end Saturday night by 10:00 p.m. and clients must be present for church services at 10:00 a.m. Sunday.
  • Visitors may attend the 10:00 a.m. worship service on Sundays.
  • Pastors may visit clients at their convenience. Please call and advise staff of when you plan to visit.
  • Unauthorized visitors will be asked to leave the campus. PLEASE DO NOT BRING PETS!


  • One week's clothing to include work clothes, Gym and Swimwear, Coat or Jacket, Set of Dress Clothes, Footwear, Bible, Spiral Notebooks, Writing Instruments.
  • Groceries, Food Allowance or Food Stamps. Meals are not provided.
  • Cell Phone, Laptop, Clock Radio are permitted, but not required.
  • Personal Hygiene Items. Nothing Containing Alcohol or Aerosol are allowed.
  • Prescription Medications and over the counter medications which are not mind-altering, narcotic or habit-forming.
  • All items included must be able to fit within two suit cases.
  • Any items left behind will be disposed of 72 hours after departure from the program.


  • We can only share with the clients the "tools" that we know work to live the full, abundant life Christ has promised us, free from alcohol and other addictive drugs.
  • Those clients that will prioritize these in their life will remain free from a life of addiction. It is up to the client.
  • Proper aftercare is extremely important to continued recovery. Aftercare recommendations will be made available prior to leaving our program.


  • Sunday: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Church Services at His Hands Church.
  • Sunday: 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., Weekly Process Group
  • Monday Evenings: Outside Self Help Meetings, ie. AA/NA/CA/ Celebrate Recovery, etc.
  • Tuesday: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., Recovery Groups Meet In-House.
  • Wednesday: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., Recovery Bible Study Group Meets at His Hands Church.
  • Thursday: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., Recovery Groups Meet In-House.
  • Friday Evenings: Outside Self Help Meetings, ie. AA/NA/CA/ Celebrate Recovery, etc.
  • Saturday: Housework must be done before leaving the House. Second Saturday morning a month is a mandatory Community Service Workday.
  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: Evenings in addition to Saturdays from 9am-5pm Clients participate in one hour individual psychotherapy sessions.


Weekdays there is no loitering at the House. It is counter productive to a healthy recovery. Client's must be at work, seeking employment, school, or a scheduled activity. If not, Clients will be engaged in ministry work related tasks like grounds work, maintenance assignments, counseling, homework, recovery classes, service projects, etc.



Before entering our program each applicant must interview with members of our staff. Some of the interview process can be conducted by phone.
