You can become a vital part of recovery at His House by participating in one or more of our partnership programs. As one can imagine, the expenses associated with the operation of our ministry are considerable. Although our residents contribute to our expenses, the cost of our programs would make access to His House nearly impossible if the ministry charged our residents the full cost of their stay.
So in order to offset these expenses, we must reach out to supporters who believe in our mission and demonstrate their support with gifts. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, gifts to His House are not only greatly needed and appreciated, but are tax deductible as allowed by law. We do not receive any public assistance other than individual donors, nor are we the beneficiaries of any tax dollar assistance. We operate solely upon the faith of those who live in our facilities or give to our ministry.
Will you please consider and pray about supporting one of our partnership programs so we can continue making recovery affordable to those who truly desire change, but cannot afford to pay the financial price? Here is a list of our partnership programs:
Annual gifts can be directed to our offices via our website or by calling us at 770-312-2598.
Give the gift of sobriety. Sobriety scholarships help residents pay for their cost of our program. Unlike loans, they do not have to be repaid.
Endowed scholarship funds are made possible by the generosity of our friends and alumni. As permanent funds, they are critical to His House because they generate income for scholarships permanently. An endowed scholarship can be established with a minimum gift of $10,000.
Endowed gifts use your investment in His House to establish a fund, the interest from which is used to support a purpose of your choosing. That purpose could be a program or a scholarship. Endowed gifts typically bear the donor's name, celebrating your commitment to and support of His House.
Many businesses generously match all or part of their employees' charitable contributions. Ask your human resources department or that of your spouse if they will match your gift to His House Ministries.
Pledging an amount now and spreading payments over time allows you to make a more generous gift.
Long-term, appreciated stocks and securities are almost always an excellent way to provide financial support. They can be used to support the annual fund or in establishing planned giving arrangements and provide a double benefit to you-a current income tax deduction and avoidance of capital gains taxes.
In the spirit of true chaparral generosity, many donors establish gifts to honor a loved one or special mentor, pastor, missionary, Christian worker or friend. These unique gifts not only provide essential support for His House Ministries, but also ensure the honorees' legacy will endure at His House Ministries.
